Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo Remembers Her Late Daughter On What Would Have Been Her 7th Birthday

The pain of losing a child is one that no parent ever wants to face — yet for media personality and musician Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo, this heartbreaking reality has struck not once, but twice.
Ntombi Ngcobo Mzolo’s Double Tragedy
Back in 2015, Ntombi lost her infant son to a rare heart condition known as hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Then in September 2021, another devastating tragedy struck when her daughter, Linile Vunani Mzolo, died in a car accident at just three years old.
Today would have been a special milestone for Ntombi’s angel baby, Linile, who would have celebrated her 7th birthday. Instead of a party, candles, and cake, the day carries bittersweet memories filled with longing.
Taking to Instagram, Ntombi shared a throwback video of Linile joyfully playing with her father. In the clip, her daughter can be seen trying to wake her dad up while Ntombi films in the background — a sweet, innocent moment that reminds fans of the bright spirit Linile was.

A Heartfelt Message To Her Angel
In her caption, Ntombi penned an emotional note to her late daughter, reaffirming her unbreakable bond with her even beyond death:
“Happy heavenly birthday, my sweet Angel. Not even death could separate us. You’ll live in my mind, my heart and soul till we again in heaven 💕 #angelbaby #motherofangels #angellinile.”

Her tribute touched many of her followers, who flooded her comments with love, prayers, and comforting words. Supporters praised her strength in continuing to honour her children while openly sharing her grief, something that resonates with countless parents who have faced loss.
