Nota Blasts Lerato Kganyago’s Sanitary Business: “You Want People To Support Your Scam”

The ever-controversial Nota Baloyi has done it again, and this time, his target is none other than South African radio personality and DJ, Lerato Kganyago. Known for his unfiltered opinions, Nota has stirred up quite a storm on social media regarding Lerato’s sanitary pad business.

Lerato recently revealed the challenges she faces in gaining support from black communities for her sanitary pads during an interview with DJ Fresh on his podcast, WAW What A Week.

She complained of the lack of backing from her community, which sparked a conversation about black businesses and community support.

Taking to his Twitter (or X) page, Nota didn’t hold back. He criticized Lerato for not manufacturing her products in South Africa, even saying that she failed to produce unique products. Moreover, he accused her of not using local companies to advertise her brand or supporting small businesses.

His comments were nothing short of explosive, saying, “You don’t manufacture in SA, no unique products, won’t use local companies to advertise your business, you don’t support small businesses but you want black people to support your scam because you’re black meanwhile you’re a DJ and state employee!”
