Nota Baloyi Explodes At Sol Phenduka: “He Scammed Me Out Of R15K!”

Controversial music exec and outspoken personality Nota Baloyi has reignited drama in Mzansi’s entertainment scene—this time dragging vodcaster Sol Phenduka into the spotlight.

On 22 September, Nota took to Twitter (X) with a fiery accusation, claiming that Sol scammed him after pocketing R15,000 in booking fees without delivering on his duties.

According to Nota, he booked Sol to host an event in May 2022 and even shared an FNB payment screenshot dated 27 May as proof.

“Booked Sol to host a gig & he showed up because I paid the full fee upfront, but flatly refused to do the HOSTING JOB. I took it on the chin, but he never apologised for scamming me. They always act innocent!” Nota wrote.

Sol Phenduka Fires Back At Nota Baloyi With Bold Response

While Nota aired his frustrations, Sol didn’t stay silent. Instead, the Podcast and Chill co-host—who recently parted ways with Kaya959 FM—clapped back with a cheeky reply that left fans buzzing.

“He has the receipts. He must open a case. Criminality isn’t good. Criminals should be behind bars, not out here podcasting and tweeting amongst us,” Sol said.
