Former police minister Bheki Cele may be retired — but baby, he’s definitely not resting. A viral clip of the 73-year-old enjoying himself at a DJ Shimza x Friends event in Durban has Mzansi screaming on social media.

The now-trending video shows Cele and his wife, Thembeka Ngcobo, vibing in a cordoned-off VIP section at the Durban Exhibition Centre. The couple reportedly attended the event in September, and let’s just say… uBab’ Cele came ready to groove!

In the first clip, the former police boss is seen sitting comfortably on a couch — fedora hat on (of course) — while enjoying a drink. In front of him, a table loaded with bottles on ice sits proudly, because who said retirement has to be boring?

At one point, Cele even gestures for a young woman to move out of his way so he can see the stage better. A second video shows him and his wife dancing in the VIP area, fully in the groove — like a man with zero crime stats to worry about.

“KEEPING FIT” — BHEKI CELE STYLE

While some might be surprised to see him on the party scene, Cele recently shared that he’s been spending much of his downtime staying active and keeping fit. Judging by his energy at the event, he’s clearly taking that part seriously!
