Two Women Found Dead In Pigsty Outside Polokwane

A man has allegedly shot two women before disposing of their bodies in a pigsty on a farm outside Polokwane, Limpopo.

According to police reports, another man who was with them was also shot and is currently hospitalized. The bodies of the victims were discovered in a severely decomposed state, with parts of their intestines already visible.

Limpopo police spokesperson, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, reported that the police were alerted about a missing 45-year-old woman who disappeared after visiting the farm on a Saturday. Upon searching the farm, officials discovered the body of the missing woman, along with another body of a 35-year-old foreign woman, both in advanced stages of decomposition.

Further investigations revealed that the women had sustained gunshot wounds and were accompanied by a 47-year-old foreign man during their visit. The man was also shot and is currently receiving medical treatment in a hospital. Witness accounts indicate that the victims were thrown into a pig enclosure, which housed about 50 pigs, where the animals started to feed on them.

“The motive behind this gruesome act remains unknown,” said Colonel Ledwaba. “Police are investigating two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. The identity of the deceased will be released at a later time,” he added.

The shocking nature of this tragedy has left the local community in shock. Meanwhile, police have launched an extensive manhunt to locate the perpetrator responsible for this heinous act.
