The police have charged a 42-year-old Zimbabwean national with possession of a presumed stolen motor vehicle and contravention of the Immigration Act after it was determined that he had entered the country illegally.

The suspect is expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday, August 12.

Mandla Mandela expressed surprise and concern over how a vehicle with such advanced security features could be so easily stolen from a mall. This incident raises important questions about vehicle security and the effectiveness of current anti-theft measures in place.
