A harrowing case is set to continue in the high court in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, as 39-year-old police constable Sizwe Cedric Khoza awaits sentencing for the cold-blooded murder of his wife, her sister, and her brother.

Last week, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in Mpumalanga announced that Khoza had pleaded guilty to three counts of murder.
His wife, Nomthandazo Mnisi, and her siblings, Xolisile Mnisi and Dennis Collen Mkhatshwa, were the victims. Both sisters were nurses. The case, initially postponed, will continue on Tuesday for sentencing.
Court documents reveal that the tragic event took place on April 30th last year, at Khoza’s residence. Initially, the family meeting included relatives from both sides.
However, tensions escalated, leading Khoza to leave the meeting only to return armed. In a fit of rage, he shot and killed the three family members.
