The man accused of dousing his girlfriend and her friend with fuel early Sunday morning, killing one of them, has been arrested.
Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, a spokesperson for Gauteng police, confirmed the suspect’s arrest on Monday.

“He is expected to appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court facing a charge of murder, attempted murder and arson.”
Marishka David, 30, and Zakkiyah Raymond, 38, were attacked in Florida on the West Rand.
The arrested individual is believed to have had a relationship with David.
Raymond died from her injuries on Sunday, hours after the savage attack.

David’s mother, Mandy, stated that her daughter remained in the hospital uninformed that her companion had passed away.
Speaking about the incident, she said: “While they were sleeping, he threw them with petrol and set them alight.”
