During the operation, the team seized licensed rifles, pistols, and ammunition that were purportedly being used for training purposes.
The intended use of this training remains undetermined, although provincial Hawks spokesperson W/O Lethunya Mmuroa mentioned that a military-related agenda could not be excluded.
Currently, investigations are underway to determine how these firearms and ammunition came to be at the farm. Despite the significant seizure, no arrests have been made in relation to this operation.
The growing concerns about unauthorized training activities involving licensed firearms in the region highlight the need for rigorous surveillance and swift action by law enforcement agencies.
