In the early hours of New Year’s Day, a shooting incident occurred in Soshanguve, Gauteng, leaving four individuals injured.
The incident took place in Block P, located north of Pretoria. Reports indicate that the attackers, armed with rifles and wearing black bulletproof vests, targeted their victims. Among those injured was a 14-year-old teenage girl.

The Gauteng police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. At this stage, the motive behind the attack remains unknown.
