On Saturday morning, a jewellery store located at Cresta Shopping Centre in Johannesburg fell victim to a robbery. Eyewitnesses reported that approximately nine men, wearing masks and large hats, entered Bello Jewellers armed with hammers.
The robbers swiftly smashed the glass cases inside the store and made off with bags of jewellery. The entire incident lasted around four minutes.

Following the robbery, the police have launched a manhunt for the armed men. Authorities believe that the suspects may still be inside the mall, prompting the closure of all stores as a precautionary measure. No injuries have been reported thus far.
