Police are looking for a gang that murdered an elderly woman and her son in the north of Durban.
They said four armed men broke into their home near Inanda on Wednesday.

According to KZN police spokeswoman Thenjiswa Ngcobo, they forced three family members into the house.

“After a while, the two family members were sent outside for a while, and the suspect remained with the 67-year-old woman inside the house and it was set alight.
“The suspects allegedly shot the woman’s 40-year-old son and he was declared dead at the scene.”
At this time, the motivation for the killings is unknown.
