Ndimande Brothers To Be Handed Over To SAPS Next Week In AKA, Tibz Case

The South African Police Service (SAPS) has confirmed that it will receive the Ndimande brothers, wanted for the murders of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, from Eswatini next week.

The Eswatini government has issued a surrender order for Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, paving the way for their extradition to South Africa. SAPS says logistical arrangements are being finalised, with the handover expected to take place on Tuesday, 11 November 2025.

AKA Murder Investigation Nears Breakthrough

National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola expressed gratitude to Eswatini authorities for their cooperation in bringing the case closer to resolution.

“We thank the Eswatini authorities for their cooperation and assistance in firstly apprehending the pair and ultimately ensuring that they are brought back to the country to answer to crimes committed,” said Masemola.

The two suspects abandoned their extradition appeal on Monday, 3 November 2025, clearing the way for their return to South African soil.

Interpol Finalising Ndimande Brothers Handover Arrangements

SAPS has confirmed that the brothers face 24 charges linked to three separate cases, including murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.

Interpol South Africa and Interpol Eswatini are now coordinating to finalise the official handover.

The SAPS remains confident that it has a watertight case against the brothers, who have been at the centre of the high-profile investigation into the 2023 Durban shooting that claimed the lives of AKA and Tibz.

“This is a significant step forward in the pursuit of justice,” said a senior police source. “We are finally closing in on those responsible.”
