Nandipha Magudumana Fights To Remove Her Father From Netflix Documentary

Disgraced doctor Nandipha Magudumana is pushing back against Netflix’s upcoming documentary about her ties to convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester. According to her attorneys, Magudumana is “distressed and disturbed” after learning that her father, Zolile Sekeleni, is featured in the production.
Her legal team revealed she has instructed them to urgently approach the courts if producers refuse to cut her father’s involvement. “She feels strongly about protecting her family from public scrutiny in this context,” her lawyers said.

The streaming giant’s documentary is expected to unpack Magudumana’s controversial relationship with Bester, including the shocking prison escape that captivated South Africa. Sekeleni, who is also facing charges for allegedly assisting in the escape, reportedly plays a role in the series.
Magudumana’s attorneys confirmed they are considering filing urgent interdict papers to block the broadcast unless a resolution is reached. “If no agreement is made, we will have no choice but to take the matter to court,” they said.
