Naledi Aphiwe Renovates Family Home At Just 18 — “Renovated My Home, I’m So Proud Of Myself”

Mzansi’s golden girl Naledi Aphiwe just proved she’s not only hitting high notes in music, but also in real life. At only 18, the award-winning singer has done what many twice her age are still dreaming of — renovating her family home — and sis is emotional, proud, and giving all the glory to God.

Big Girl Making Big Moves

The multi-award-winning star had her fans wiping tears after she posted a heartfelt video showing off the renovations, with most of the glow-up focused on the kitchen. In the clip, Naledi appeared visibly emotional as she shared her milestone with words written across the screen: “Renovated my home, I’m so proud of myself.”

She kept her caption short but powerful: “God is good ❤️.”

Not only is this a major win for Naledi, but it’s also a story that touched fans across Mzansi — proof that this 18-year-old is wise and grounded beyond her years.

Celebs and Fans Show Naledi Aphiwe Major Love

The entertainment industry wasted no time showering Naledi Aphiwe with praise. DJ Lady Du wrote: “There is so much more that you’re going to do, starting at home is big.”

Singer Nomfundo Moh also joined in with: “Well done mama. God bless you Kwande.”

Content creator Sibongile Kajane added: “I’m so proud of you my baby.”

On TikTok, Naledi doubled down on her gratitude, posting: “Big girl, big moves. Please continue supporting me, I am going to do really big things at home. I wouldn’t have been here if you guys weren’t here to support me.”

Naledi Aphiwe Reacts with Love

Of course, the TL couldn’t resist reacting. One fan, @Tha Ndii, pointed out: “Lapho siyalingana nkosi,” (translation: “and we’re the same age”), provhow rare it is for an 18-year-old to achieve such a milestone.

Instead of flexing, Naledi served wisdom: “Don’t feel any pressure, maybe wena your parents can do all that for you, maybe unaye umama unkulunkulu akasibeki ezimeni ezifanayo. I’m the only person who can do this ekhaya ingakho angipha lomsebenzi engiwenzayo nawe uzoba namandla one day.”

Translation? “Don’t feel any pressure. Maybe your parents can do all that for you, maybe you have a mother and God doesn’t put you in the same situations. I’m the only person who can do this at home, that’s why I was given this work I’m doing. One day you will also have strength.”

Talk about humility and inspiration rolled into one!  Sis is only 18 and already renovating homes — the girls that get it, get it.
