Musa Mseleku Drags Daughter Mpilo Into Having Kids For MaKhumalo — Fans Say “This Is Diabolical!”

Mzansi is stil fuming after Uthando Nes’thembu Season 9 dropped one of its most disturbing moments yet. Social media went into full meltdown mode when Musa Mseleku sat his 21-year-old daughter Mpilo Mseleku down and asked her to do the unthinkable — have children to “save” MaKhumalo’s home.

Yes, you read that right. Not marriage. Not discussion. Children.

And the streets? Absolutely not impressed.

Uthando Nes’thembu shocker: Musa Mseleku’s request leaves Mzansi furious

In episode two of the hit reality show, Musa visits Mpilo at her workplace, where what starts as a casual lunch quickly turns into an emotional ambush. He explains that MaKhumalo’s household is at risk of “dying” because she cannot have children — a deeply sensitive issue that has long played out on the show.

Musa reveals he previously asked MaCele to allow Lwandle to be traditionally placed under MaKhumalo’s house, but she refused. With that door closed, he turns to what he calls his “last option”: Mpilo stepping in to protect the umuzi by having children.

Mpilo, clearly stunned, asks him to clarify — and that’s when the bomb drops. He isn’t talking about marriage at all. Just children.

Laughing in disbelief, Mpilo shuts it down fast:

“I don’t understand what is happening… but not me. Forget it.”

She insists this kind of conversation cannot happen without MaKhumalo’s input and confidently adds that Thobile would never agree to such an arrangement.

Mzansi reacts: “Toxic, selfish, and straight-up wrong”

A clip shared by @Mosheki Daniel sent social media into overdrive, with viewers dragging Musa left, right and centre.

@MoshekiD: “Musa Mseleku is toxic, a leech, a parasite! Must this man survive at all costs? This is insane and extremely selfish.”

@southsharkk: “So does this mean the man Mpilo marries must take the Mseleku surname? And the kids belong to who exactly? I’m confused and disturbed.”

@Fruit_iii: “That lunch conversation was so cringe, I had to pause the episode. This is not normal.”

@Sanele_Nathi: “Mpilo is carefree and outspoken, which I love — but Musa is definitely trying to manipulate her into fixing his marital problems.”

@tshekatsheko: “Mseleku is using Mpilo to fight his battles. There ARE traditional options, he’s just being spiteful at this point.”

@tswalie: “Mseleku wa gafa straight! Mpilo must have kids but doesn’t need marriage? Why not take Sne’s kids then?”

@winterrsunshinx: “This is diabolical. You don’t care about her goals, her marriage, her life — just kids? Absolutely not.”

@nomvula_b: “This is emotional blackmail disguised as culture. Mpilo deserves better.”

@khaya_online: “Musa treats women and children like chess pieces. Mpilo said NO and I’m proud of her.”

@anele_talks: “Protecting an umuzi should never come at the expense of a young woman’s future. This crossed a line.”

While some argued there are traditional solutions Musa could still pursue, many felt he crossed a serious line by pulling his daughter into marital issues that aren’t hers to fix.
