Musa Mseleku Breaks Silence After Fake Cops Rob His Son Mpumelelo’s Durban Home — R30K Gone!

Reality TV star and polygamist Musa Mseleku has finally broken his silence after his son, Mpumelelo Mseleku, was allegedly robbed by fake police officers in Durban.

According to reports, Mpumelelo’s Ballito home was raided by eight armed men posing as law enforcement and security personnel. The group reportedly stole R30,000 in cash and even a bullet from Mpumelelo’s licensed firearm before fleeing the scene.

Confirming the incident, Musa said the family will not take matters into their own hands, despite the emotional toll.

“The incident did happen, and we won’t be handling this the Mseleku way,”

Musa told the press. “Our lawyers have advised us to deal with it legally. I believe this could be the work of a syndicate — Mpumelelo is doing great things that some people never thought he could achieve at his age, and that’s where jealousy comes in.”

Musa Mseleku Suspects Rival Sabotage

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Mseleku said he believes the incident was a planned attack.

“People arrived at my son’s place in Ballito, police and security personnel who had come to commit a crime. I think this was something that was planned,” he said.

Mseleku suggested that his son’s success may have attracted jealousy from others.

“Mpumelelo is doing things that are not normally done by people his age. There is jealousy,” he said.

A source close to the family claimed the robbery might be linked to business rivals in Mpumelelo’s growing security company.

“His security business is doing really well and getting good gigs. We suspect his rivals are behind this — and possibly working with police officers from Umhlali Station,” the insider alleged.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Jay Naicker Netshiunda confirmed that the couple were home when eight suspects ambushed them, posing as officers before taking off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The source further revealed that Mpumelelo Mseleku, distrustful of local officers, chose to open the case at Durban Central Police Station instead of Umhlali.

“He didn’t trust the police officers from Umhlali, so he went to Durban Central,” the source said.
