Murder Investigation Launched After Fatal Shooting Of Local Man In KZN

A tragic shooting in KwaZulu-Natal killed a local man, identified as Khan, during an attempted vehicle hijacking.
The murder incident occurred on Saturday when four armed suspects in a white Toyota Etios sedan targeted the victim near a local shop.

According to KZN-VIP Protection Services spokesperson, Gareth Naidoo, the suspects fired multiple shots at Khan before fleeing the scene.
Despite efforts to provide assistance, the murder victim was found critically injured and unresponsive and was declared dead at the scene.
SAPS Investigation
Colonel Robert Netshiunda, a spokesperson for the KZN provincial police, confirmed that a case of murder was being investigated.

Netshiunda described the attack as an ambush, with the suspects demanding Khan’s vehicle before shooting him.

The police have launched an urgent investigation, and authorities are appealing for any witnesses to come forward to assist in the search for the perpetrators.
