Murdah Bongz, a former member of Black Motion, has been lauded for his exceptional role as a stepdad to Kairo. His heartfelt message read, “I didn’t give you the gift of life, but life gave me the gift of you.

Kairo Forbes, born in 2015, is the daughter of DJ Zinhle and the late South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known as AKA. Tragically, AKA was shot and killed outside Wish restaurant on Florida Road on 10 February 2023. Despite the heartache, Murdah Bongz has stepped in as a supportive and loving figure in Kairo’s life.
