Just when we thought Mpho Wa Badimo was keeping things quiet, drama has found her again — and this time, it’s in the courtroom. The Big Brother Mzansi Season 3 winner is allegedly caught up in a messy R600,000 legal battle linked to the glitzy Zuree Hair Salon at Springs Mall.

According to reports, Mpho and salon owner Lehlogonolo Annette Nkuna are being sued by the Springs Mall consortium for allegedly breaching a lease agreement. The lawsuit reportedly stems from unpaid rental fees amounting to over R163,000, ballooning into a massive R600K claim.

Zuree Hair, known for its luxe beauty treatments — from fat injections and microblading to laser lipo and microneedling — was once flaunted by Mpho on social media, where she proudly claimed to be the co-owner. But it seems the glam façade has cracked.

Legal Trouble Piles Up for Mpho Wa Badimo

In legal documents reportedly seen by Daily Sun, the salon’s management is accused of failing to meet monthly rental payments. The summons states:

“The first defendant had breached the terms of their lease agreement as they failed to make payment of their monthly rental and charges as agreed. They are currently in arrears of over R163K…”

If true, this would mark another major scandal for Mpho, who’s no stranger to controversy.

Past Scandals Resurface Amid Lawsuit Drama

Back in September 2025, Mpho faced accusations of scamming her clients, adding to a string of career missteps since her Big Brother Mzansi victory.

A source told newsmen that Mpho allegedly pretended to co-own Zuree Hair as part of a publicity stunt, claiming she needed to maintain appearances after blowing through her R2 million prize money.

“Mpho is not the owner; she only asked Annette to shoot a reality TV show there because she was embarrassed that her winnings were finished and she hadn’t done anything tangible. It was just for publicity,” the insider revealed.

Meanwhile, Springs Mall marketing manager Amoret D’Arrigo declined to discuss the case, stating,
