Ledwaba said police were met by the girl’s paternal grandmother upon arrival at the property. She directed officers to a one-room structure on the premises where the body was discovered.
Police found the teenager’s remains in a partially decomposed state, with visible injuries.
Ledwaba confirmed: police “established that the body of the 15-year-old was in a partial state of decomposition and had a visible stab wound”.
