On the same day the news broke, Dlamini posted a cryptic Instagram Story captioned “When I’m on a mission” — while serving flawless legs in the snap. The timing had tongues wagging across social media.

Speaking on Podcast and Chill, Phenduka himself confirmed that his suspension was linked to a legal battle involving Dlamini.

“So, you know what it’s about? It’s about the court case with Minnie. So, it’s an old story, but when the case happened then they came through. So obviously it’s gonna be a matter of you brought the station to disrepute,” he explained.

Phenduka insisted he had done nothing wrong at Kaya FM: “A lot of people are assuming I did something; I did nothing. Literally. People think I didn’t come to work, or I was unprofessional — but that’s not the case.”

YouTuber Claims There’s a Personal Vendetta

To add more fuel to the fire, a popular YouTuber had previously alleged that Dlamini had a personal vendetta against both Phenduka and MacG, suggesting that the issue went deeper than just professional disagreements. While Dlamini has neither confirmed nor denied the allegations, her cryptic post hasn’t helped silence the rumours.

Phenduka admitted he isn’t optimistic about his long-term future at Kaya FM.

“The writing’s on the wall, man. The way this is going, you know, writing on the wall,” he said.
