Minnie Dlamini Addresses Rumours Of Rekindling With Ex-Hubby Quinton Jones

Media personality Minnie Dlamini has had enough of the rumours and gossip surrounding her personal life.
In an interview with Zimoja, she firmly denies any possibility of reuniting with her estranged husband, Quinton Jones. “I am not back with that guy, and I don’t even know who started this rumour. That chapter is closed, and it will never be opened,” she emphasizes.

Back to Dlamini
Despite the ongoing divorce proceedings, Minnie has decided to drop her double-barrel surname of Dlamini-Jones and go back to just Dlamini. “We are still legally married, but I have taken back the Dlamini surname. My ID is back to Dlamini,” she reveals.
Messy Divorce Chronicles
Minnie and Quinton’s marriage was once the talk of the town, with a lavish celebrity wedding attended by the who’s who of showbiz, sports, and politics. However, the couple announced their divorce in February 2022. Minnie candidly discussed her failed marriage in an interview on 702, admitting that she ignored red flags.
“I felt like I had to diminish myself in so many ways, and I wasn’t able to be the best version of myself. A marriage should never clip your wings; it should allow you to grow a second pair,” she reflects.
In the divorce settlement, Minnie agreed to pay Quinton a once-off spousal maintenance of R360,000 for his accommodation, as well as R120,000 in cash for his furniture and household necessities.
A Roast and Laughter
On a lighter note, Savanna and Showmax Laugh Africa Comedy Festival recently announced the roast of Minnie Dlamini, scheduled for Friday, April 5th, at the Sandton Convention Centre.

She assures everyone that she won’t be taking anything personally. “The roast is about having fun and not taking myself too seriously. It might also be a chance to dispel some of the rumours that have been circulating about me,” she adds.
