Mazwi Kubheka Found Alive After Disappearance, Appears At Vosloorus Police Station

Missing Vosloorus businessman Mazwi Kubheka has been found alive after he arrived at a local police station.

Gauteng Provincial Police Commissioner Tommy Mthombeni confirmed that Kubheka “rocked up” at the Vosloorus Police Station.

Police said they are still unclear on how he got there. He is currently being questioned before undergoing a medical examination.

Mazwi Kubheka Disappearance Had Sparked National Concern

Kubheka, a 27-year-old spaza shop owner, had been missing since early April after he was last seen on April 2.

His disappearance drew widespread concern and prompted intervention from national authorities.

Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni had confirmed that the national Crime Intelligence unit was brought in to assist with the investigation.

The case was believed to be linked to a dispute involving his spaza shop business in Vosloorus, although details remained limited.

Investigation Continues Despite Safe Return

Despite Kubheka’s reappearance, investigations into the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are ongoing.

Authorities are expected to question him further to determine what happened during the time he was missing.

Officials have not yet provided information on whether any suspects have been identified or if criminal charges will follow.
