Mayeni Slammed For ‘Pretending’ To Care About Grandkids: “Hands Off Vuyokazi!”

Yeyi, kuRough!  For days now, Musa Mseleku’s second wife, Mayeni, who also stars on Uthando Nes’thembu, has been locked in a heated online war she is simply not winning—all because of one innocent-looking “Happy belated birthday” comment.

It all started when Vuyokazi Nciweni posted adorable pictures of her son Nzulu, who just turned a year older. The boy, who she shares with Mpumelelo Mseleku, automatically makes Mayeni a grandmother. So, as a gogo trying to show love, Mayeni dropped a harmless “happy belated birthday” under the post.

But did the streets not attack her! Commenters didn’t waste a second before accusing her of forgetting the child’s birthday and pretending to care for Vuyokazi’s kids only when it’s convenient.

Mayeni Snaps on Live: “Stay Out of Our Family Business!”

Feeling cornered, Mayeni hit Facebook Live to “set the record straight,” but honestly? She just poured petrol on the fire. She insisted she knows Nzulu’s birthday and that “Vuyokazi’s kids are very much my kids.” Then she took it a step further, dragging the nation:

“Stay out of our business! You only know us from TV. Some of you have ugly kids and you hide them behind locked profiles!” That’s when TikTok exploded.

Fans Fire Back: “You Rejected Vuyo And Neglected Those Kids!”

The video, reposted by @magumede, caused chaos as thousands of viewers reminded Mayeni of her track record — especially after Vuyokazi publicly revealed she is raising her kids alone, without co-parenting, support, or involvement from Mpumelelo OR the Mselekus.

And trust, Vuyo’s supporters were ready for war. Comments came flying in like bullets:

@Goddes_of_thetruth_ said: “Mayeni uyophendula mina one day. Vuyokazi’s kids are nothing to the Mselekus until they take responsibility. Some of us are hurt watching Vuyo raise those kids alone while the family is capable.”

And one user went deep into the archives, reminding everyone of the moment Mayeni told Vuyokazi not to have more kids — and he went across the map, impregnating Tirelo within minutes: “Lapho wamtshela uVuyo ukuthi angasamithi… but he went and impregnated Tirelo the first chance he got.”

It seems Vuyokazi has the nation behind her — and Mayeni has unlocked a dragging she never asked for.
