Mauritian National Gunned Down In Apparent Hit

A 55-year-old Mauritian national was shot and killed inside his black Porsche in Parklands, Western Cape. 

Eye witness account noted, a group of suspects in a white vehicle fired several shots at the Mauritian before fleeing the scene with his cellphone.

 Western Cape Provincial Serious and Violent Crime detectives are pursuing leads to apprehend those responsible for the death of the Mauritian.

Police Hunt For Suspects

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi stated that the motive for the attack is believed to be a hit. 

Swartbooi have requested the public to provide any useful information that will lead to the arrest of the culprits and find justice for the victim.

Separate Attack Claims Fifth Life In Gauteng

In an unrelated incident, a fifth person has died following an attack at the Marry Me Informal Settlement in Soshanguve, Gauteng. 

Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has given police 72 hours to arrest those behind the killing, which initially claimed the lives of four community patrollers.
