Veteran broadcaster Masechaba Ndlovu is facing the wrath of social media after conducting an on-air interview with her husband, gospel artist Ntethelelo Faku Mposwa, ahead of the release of his EP, Back to the Altar.

A clip from the Newzroom Afrika interview surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), shared by MDNNews, showing Masechaba professionally engaging her husband about his music career and the upcoming EP.

But instead of celebrating the moment, netizens came out with guns blazing, questioning her journalistic integrity and throwing shade at her personal life.

The comments section was on fire, with critics accusing Masechaba of favoritism and calling her personal life into question.

Masechaba Ndlovu Now First Lady of Gospel?

Masechaba tied the knot with Ntethe Mposwa, who is also the father of her son Lukhanyo, in 2024. The singer and entrepreneur is the founder of Ntethe Global Effect, a record label focused on gospel music.

Announcing their wedding, Masechaba gushed over her husband on Instagram, writing:
