Congrats! Masasa Mbangeni Bags Another Wits Degree — Fans Say She’s Coming For All The Academic Smoke!”

South African actress Masasa Mbangeni is out here collecting degrees like they’re wardrobe staples — and honestly, we love a brainy queen! The award-winning star has officially graduated again, this time securing a BA Honours in Dramatic Arts from the Wits School of the Arts. Yes, sis is now a two-time Wits graduate, and the timeline is eating it up.

Wits University wasted no time bragging about their golden girl, posting, “Congratulations to our two-time Wits graduate and actress Masasa Mbangeni. We are incredibly proud of you.” And honestly? Same.

Masasa Mbangeni Levels Up Her Academic Bag

If you thought Masasa was done, think again. The Legacy and Scandal! star has ALWAYS been that girl when it comes to education. She already holds a BA in Dramatic Arts (Directing & Performance Studies) from Wits, plus an Associates Diploma in Performance from Trinity College in London.

And let’s not forget — she’s a former Mandela Rhodes Scholar, so intellectual excellence is basically her brand.

But wait — the plot thickens: Masasa says she’s coming BACK for her Master’s and PhD. Sis really said, “I’m not done. I’m building a library on these people.”

Talk about commitment to the craft AND the classroom!

The Wits Girlies Are Winning!

Masasa now joins a small but elite group of “Wits Repeat Offenders,” including influencer and entrepreneur Sarah Langa, who recently became a three-time Wits graduate.

Sarah joked online: “Four qualifications later… three from Wits, one from the British Academy of Interior Design, one Golden Key, and a brain cell or two I may never get back cos MBA’s are not built for the weak minded.”

Chile… the degrees are DEGREEN’!

Are we witnessing a new influencer-academia trend? Will the rest of Mzansi celebs follow? Should we be bracing for a “Celeb Graduation Season”? Let’s discuss! Is Masasa inspiring you to go register next semester, or are you leaving the academic stress to the girlies with stronger WiFi and even stronger patience?
