Marumo Gallants Team Bus Involved In Minor Road Incident After Golden Arrows Match In Durban

Marumo Gallants FC has confirmed that their team bus was involved in a minor road incident in Durban on Sunday evening, 2 November 2025, shortly after their Betway Premiership encounter against Golden Arrows.
According to the club, the incident took place as the team was travelling from the stadium to their hotel. The Gallants’ bus was reportedly part of a three-car collision in which a private vehicle was pushed forward, lightly striking the rear of the team coach.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were sustained. All players, technical staff, and accompanying personnel on board were declared safe and in good condition following the incident.
Marumo Gallants Expresses Relief After Scare
Club management released a statement shortly after the incident, expressing gratitude that everyone involved was unharmed.
“We are thankful that all our players and staff are safe,” the statement read. “The incident was minor, and we appreciate the prompt response from local authorities and emergency services who ensured everyone’s safety.”

Despite the brief disruption, Marumo Gallants confirmed that their schedule remains unaffected. The team will stay in Durban for the remainder of the week as planned.
Their attention now turns to upcoming fixtures — beginning with a midweek clash against Durban City on Wednesday, followed by a crucial Carling Knockout Cup semi-final this Sunday.
