Mandla Mandela’s Wife Condemns Gaza Flotilla Interception, Calls It ‘Act Of Terror’

Nosekeni Rabia Mandela, wife of Zwelivelile Mandla Mandela, has described the interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla by Israeli forces as an “act of terror.” She has demanded the immediate release of all activists detained during the mission.

The flotilla, which aimed to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, was carrying activists from several countries, including South Africa. Among those detained is Mandla Mandela, Nelson Mandela’s grandson and a prominent South African politician.

Global Sumud Flotilla Mission Halted

The Global Sumud Flotilla was part of an international effort to transport aid and express solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. However, Israeli forces intercepted the vessel, preventing it from completing its mission.

According to reports, activists aboard the ship were taken into custody. Families and supporters of those detained have raised urgent concerns for their safety and wellbeing.
