Man Sentenced To Life Imprisonment For Rape Of 15 Year Old
Phillip Nkuna Ngomane, a 33-year-old man from Limpopo, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the brutal rape of a 15-year-old girl in October 2016.
The victim was walking home when Ngomane, armed with a firearm, dragged her to nearby bushes and raped her three times before fleeing the scene.

Tireless Pursuit Of Justice
The victim reported the incident to her family, and the local police immediately opened a rape case.

At the time of his arrest, Ngomane was facing another rape charge involving a 19-year-old girl.
Life Imprisonment
Ngomane made multiple court appearances and was granted R2,500 bail in July 2023.

However, he remained in custody until his conviction in January 2025.
On Monday, the Ritavi Magistrate’s Court sentenced Ngomane to life imprisonment, bringing closure to the victim and her family.
