Man Kidnapped From Home, Residents Recount Incidence

A 30-year-old man has been kidnapped from his home in Buffelsdraai, KwaZulu-Natal, by three armed suspects.

The kidnapping Incident occurred on Thursday as reported by a local resident who contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance.

Eye Witness Account On Kidnap

The caller reportedly witnessed the suspects forcibly placing their neighbor into a silver Toyota Corolla Professional with registration BF97MV-ZN.

During the altercation, one of the suspects fired a shot.

Victim Escapes Kidnappers Seeks Help at Verulam SAPS

RUSA officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, they discovered that the security gate had been forcibly opened, and blood was found on the floor inside the home.

Authorities later received an update that the victim managed to escape from the kidnappers and made his way to the Verulam SAPS after being abandoned by the suspects on the roadside.

The investigation into the kidnapping is ongoing, but no further details about the suspects or the motive for the crime have been released at the the time of filing this report.
