Provincial police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi confirmed that officers responded swiftly to the scene and found the vehicle had smashed into the fence of a nearby car dealership. Inside the bullet-riddled Mercedes-Benz, officers discovered the lifeless body of a man.

“A case of murder is opened for further investigations,” said Nevhuhulwi.

Witnesses Report Gunfire Before Car Crash

According to Nevhuhulwi, information remains limited at this stage. “The information is still sketchy at this stage since patrons of a local pub near the scene allege that they just heard gunshots and later saw the vehicle crashing,” she added.

Police have not yet identified any suspects, and the motive for the shooting remains unclear. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward.
