Mama Joy Busted! Reposts Old Valentine’s Day Gift Photo And Gets Dragged

Social media pressure strikes again, and this time, Mama Joy is the latest victim! The outspoken Royal AM sports fanatic found herself in hot water after allegedly “recycling” an old Valentine’s Day gift photo—and Mzansi was not about to let her get away with it.

On February 14, Mama Joy posted a lavish Valentine’s Day spread on social media, which included:

• A plate of mouthwatering shisanyama
• A bouquet of red roses wrapped in R100 notes
• A gift box filled with cash and goodies

While many congratulated her on a well-spoiled Valentine’s Day, one sharp-eyed netizen recognised the shisanyama plate—because it was actually posted by Gagasi FM in October 2024!

Busted! Mzansi Drags Mama Joy for Filth

Mzansi social media detectives quickly exposed Mama Joy, and soon after, popular X page @Destinyzee reposted the revelation. Instead of admitting to the mix-up, Mama Joy came back swinging: “You saw my meal. I did not say that is my meal. I just put it as it is.”

Unfortunately for her, that excuse did not fly, and the internet showed no mercy: @Ntombet19802095: “But the caption didn’t say that’s not your meal either. God, may I please not get old and play on social media.”

@thakzozo: “You saw my meal. I didn’t say that’s my meal 👺”

@Sweduke007: “Why do I suspect that Papa Joy is not even real now?”

@MYavhudi: “Social media peer pressure, when I catch you!”

@Presley_phoebie: “Peer pressure that comes with Valentine’s Day bores me when people want to verify our pictures.”

Social Media Pressure Strikes Again

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but Mama Joy’s “photo fail” is still making waves. It seems the pressure to flex online is real—even for public figures.

Mzansi, what do you think? Was Mama Joy just having fun, or was this a desperate attempt to stunt for the timeline?
