From Totolozi To Tell-All: Malusi Gigaba Finally Reacts To Norma Mngoma’s Explosive Showmax Claims

Guys, remember that time when Malusi Gigaba had the country in a chokehold with his infamous “totolozi” tapes, whispering “imagine it in your mouth”? Iyoh, those were the days! Fast forward to 2025, and Gigaba is trending again — not for videos, but for his ex-wife Norma Mngoma’s spicy revelations on Showmax’s Untied.
Norma didn’t hold back, comparing him to P. Diddy, spilling that he often travelled with baby oil, and detailing his “business habits.” The tea was piping hot, and naturally, the nation wanted to know if Gigaba would clap back.

Malusi Gigaba Chooses Calm Over Chaos
Instead of going full WWE, Gigaba took a surprisingly calm approach. In an interview with Gagasi FM on 20 August 2025, the former minister downplayed Norma’s allegations, saying:
“The fact that somebody made allegations doesn’t mean that those allegations are true. Members of the public may be interested in a fist fight, but the dignity of our children matters most, and to me it matters most, that’s why I am not responding to this.”
So basically, Malusi is telling us: don’t expect a Twitter war — he’s choosing dignity over drama (this time). But knowing Mzansi? They’re not letting him off that easily.

Mzansi Reacts: “Strong Leader” or “Damage Control?”
South Africans flooded social media with mixed reactions:
@mthandazokwalaseni4049: “This is my first time listening to Mr Gigaba for a very long time! Now I agree with those who are saying. He is a strong leader! Indeed, he is the strong man!”
@LindaMtiya-hb3nv: “I don’t wanna throw stones ku Melusi, reason being he was caught at his weakest moments and I believe useyahlula manje. It is so unfortunate that ungene embusweni kaZuma and a lot happened sagcina sinala image. Can we give him a chance?”
@mazwinombida825: “I now remember his famous exotic video🤣. I can bet Malusi is vying for the ANC Deputy President position together with Mashatile. Same views.”
@RossGinise: “Malusi Gigaba is telling nothing but the truth. But one wonders if he is not fighting for the return of the Guptas. We are in this mess because people like him, all of a sudden. He plays holy, though.”
Mzansi being Mzansi, half the crowd thinks Gigaba is rebranding as a family man, while the other half is side-eyeing him like “once a scandal king, always a scandal king.”
