After news broke that the Limpopo hitmaker was seriously injured in a car accident, fans and industry peers rallied behind her, sending love and hoping for a speedy recovery. But just as the timelines were soft and sympathetic, one leaked screenshot flipped the mood completely.

Makhadzi Hospital Video Call Sparks Romance Speculation

On 31 December 2025, X (Twitter) user @HermaineM shared a post wishing Makhadzi well — but attached to it was a screenshot from a private video call that raised a lot of questions.

In the image, Makhadzi appears to be lying in a hospital bed, her head wrapped in bandages with a breathing tube in her nose. In the corner of the screen? A bald, shirtless man, seemingly focused on her during the call.

And just like that, the internet stopped asking “Is she okay?” and started asking: “So who is that?”

Fans React: “Why Is a Private Call Even Online?”

Speculation exploded instantly. Some fans wondered if the mystery man was Makhadzi’s new boyfriend, especially given how private she’s been about her love life since her on-and-off breakup with Master KG. Others weren’t buying the romance theory at all.
