MAFS Star Themba Khosa Admits He Was Married Before Joining Show – Wife To Speak Out

Married At First Sight South Africa season 2 contestant Themba Khosa has left fans reeling after a viral video revealed he was already married before signing up for the show.
In the clip, the 38-year-old didn’t hold back, he said, “I had paid lobola and damages for my wife. I was aware that this day would come.
“Second week on the show I decided to love myself and take a decision, and create boundaries. I updated the mother of my kids about how I feel about Nelisa — in that way I was creating boundaries and choosing myself,” he admitted.

On the show, Themba was matched with Nelisa Ntabeni (39), and the sparks were instant. The pair quickly became one of the season’s strongest couples, appearing unfazed by the chaos rocking other matches.
But behind the scenes, the drama was brewing. Khosa confessed he has always had a “soft spot” for the mother of his children — known as Sponono — and even placed her feelings above his own at times.
According to Khosa, Sponono issued him a harsh ultimatum after he confessed his feelings for Nelisa.

“After I told her how I feel about Nelisa, I was given two options: either leave the show or be exposed. I really did not want to be embarrassed on social media. I had to make a choice, and I decided there’s no way I am losing Nelisa,” he explained.
Khosa insists he stands by his choice: “They can expose me all they want, but I know that this is the person I have been waiting for all my life.”
What’s Next: Sponono Steps Into the Spotlight
The drama is far from over. A teaser for the next episode hints at fireworks, as Sponono — Khosa’s alleged wife — is set to appear on the show to finally share her side of the story.
If Khosa thought the secret was out, it seems the biggest showdown is yet to come.
