MacG Opens Up About Tough First Acting Experience
For MacG, Shaka iLembe marked his acting debut, and he described it as both challenging and eye-opening. Speaking on the latest episode of Podcast and Chill, he revealed the demanding nature of filming:
“We shot the whole day. The sun was crazy. We were standing in the sun the whole day.”
He explained that filming stretched from 9am to 5pm under the blazing sun, all while wearing traditional attire.

The podcaster admitted that the experience gave him deep respect for professional actors.
“The energy was different. It’s a different atmosphere, you feel like you’re back in those days. I felt Zulu by the end of the day. When I got there, I had a fade. It took an hour for them to put [faux] hair on. That was a hard day of work.”
