Lulekani Shooting Tragedy: Man Kills Alleged Wife’s Lover, Then Takes His Own Life

On Saturday, 4 October 2025, around 17:00, police responded to a shooting at Lulekani Newstands. A male victim was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations suggest the suspect shot the victim over a suspected romantic involvement with his wife. He then went to his parental home in Kurhula, where he reportedly shot himself in the head, dying instantly.

Police recovered the firearm and spent cartridges from the scene. The couple’s ongoing domestic issues are under investigation.
