Lorna Maseko Caught Gushing Over Married Makazole Mapimpi

Celebrity chef and TV personality Lorna Maseko found herself in the spotlight after reacting to a TikTok video of married Springboks star Makazole Mapimpi.

Lorna Maseko’s Comment Causes a Stir

Lorna Maseko joined many fans in admiring Mapimpi’s style when he posted an outfit check video on TikTok. However, after seemingly realising the potential backlash, she quickly deleted her comment.

Despite keeping his personal life private, Mapimpi’s marital status was confirmed by Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus. The rugby star reportedly tied the knot with Swazi beauty Sasha De Sousa and recently welcomed his first child.

This isn’t the first time Lorna has been linked to celebrity drama. In 2018, Siya Kolisi’s then-wife Rachel Kolisi accused an unnamed celeb—later revealed as Lorna—of encouraging a friend to pursue the married rugby captain. The incident resurfaced after Twitter detectives unearthed a clip from the reality show Being Bonang.

Lorna Maseko’s Personal Life

Lorna was also caught up in another scandal in 2015 when she shared a kiss with TV personality Katlego Maboe at a Durban July afterparty—while still married to businessman Gcina Lukhele.

Lorna, who was once married to Lukhele, has also been linked to EFF-turned-MK Party leader Floyd Shivambu, with reports suggesting they share a child.

As for Mapimpi, his fans continue to admire his impeccable fashion sense—just without the added drama.
