Londie London Backtracks With Emotional Apology After Dineo Moloisane Body-Shaming Storm

South African reality TV star Londie London is trending for all the messy reasons — and now she’s trying to clean it up. The media personality has issued a public apology to influencer Dineo Moloisane after her controversial remarks about Dineo’s looks sparked outrage online.

The drama erupted after Londie appeared on the popular podcast Podcast and Chill, where she made comments that many viewers slammed as outright body-shaming.

Social media wasted no time dragging her, with users accusing her of crossing the line and disrespecting another woman’s appearance.

Under intense pressure, Londie took to Instagram on Sunday (5 April 2026) with a video aimed at addressing the chaos. And yes — she owned up.

“I just want to address what’s been trending about me. I made mean comments about someone’s appearance… Dineo, I’d like to apologise,” she said in the clip.

But she didn’t stop there. Londie also admitted that her behaviour didn’t sit well with her audience, extending an apology to fans who felt let down by her words.

Still, not everyone is buying it…

Mzansi reacts: “Is the apology even genuine?”

While some followers applauded her for taking accountability, others weren’t convinced the apology came from a genuine place.

Social media timelines lit up with mixed reactions:

  • Some users praised her for “owning her mistake” and trying to fix her image.
  • Others dragged her, accusing her of apologising just to dodge cancellation.
  • A few even suggested her podcast appearances might be damaging her brand.

This isn’t the first time Londie has had to say sorry publicly either. Fans will remember her previous apology to former co-star Christall Kay — raising eyebrows about whether this is becoming a pattern.

At this point, the real question is: Is Londie London genuinely remorseful — or just doing damage control?
