Liyema Pantsi Reveals Her Redemption Plan For Big Brother Mzansi Season 6: “No More Chasing Men!”

Artist and influencer Liyema Pantsi is back in the Big Brother Mzansi house — and this time, she says the feelings are cancelled. The former BBMzansi Season 4: S’ya Mosha housemate has officially returned for Season 6, and she’s making it very clear that this is her redemption era.
Fans will remember Liyema as the housemate who shook Mzansi when she took R250,000 and voluntarily exited the game on Day 57, walking away from a shot at the grand prize. While some praised the bold move, others questioned it. Now, Liyema is revealing that her first experience didn’t give her what she hoped for — and she’s back to fix that.
Why Liyema Pantsi Says Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 Is Her Second Chance
At just 24 years old, Liyema says she’s entering the house with a fresh mindset and unfinished business. Speaking openly to fellow housemates, she explained that her first run in the Big Brother house was emotionally draining and isolating.
“I really feel like my experience at the first house was short-lived and I really didn’t experience much,” she said.
According to Liyema, the environment wasn’t welcoming, and she often felt alone.
“I don’t have good memories of the house. I didn’t have friends. I was how I am, but I threatened a lot of people and there was a lot of competition.”
Being seen as a threat, combined with intense pressure, made it difficult for her to enjoy the experience or fully show up as herself — something she now says she deeply regrets.
No Dating, No Distractions — Just Vibes and Strategy
One of Liyema’s biggest revelations? Romance cost her the game.
She admitted that dating in the house became a major distraction during her first season.
“I was dating in the house as well and that was limiting my game and stressing me out because I would always fight for a man,” she shared.

Things only got messier when loyalty became an issue.
“Dating in the house can go well or bad, mine was bad because my person was not loyal in the house… I became that girl who was chasing a guy while my partner was chasing four people.”
This time around, Liyema says she’s done with emotional storylines and is fully locked in on the game.
In a short Big Brother Mzansi interview, she teased a completely different version of herself — more fun, more honest, and far less emotional.

“My secret weapon is honesty and just having some fun — no feelings attached. I’m staying away from strikes this season. I’m going to keep it cute… a little bit.”
But don’t mistake calm for boring.
“I want to shake tables. I want to be the instigator this season. Bazozwa ngami. Trouble.”
