Lillian Dube Drops Bombshell: “Somizi And Moshe Are Fighting Over Men”

Not Mam’Dube turning Metro FM into a full-on gossip fest!  Veteran actress Lillian Dube had everyone in stitches when she spilled real tea about why Somizi Mhlongo and Moshe Ndiki aren’t on speaking terms — and let’s just say… it’s giving “fighting for the same type of man” energy.

Lillian Dube Spills The Tea

During her interview on Somizi’s Metro FM show over the weekend, the legendary star got brutally honest about the two once-besties’ fallout — and even Somizi didn’t know where to look when she dropped the line of the day.

“These boys are fighting over men!” — she said, pointing at her behind, sending the whole studio into chaos.

The moment had Somizi blushing, the crew howling, and social media losing its collective mind. She then continues “why would you fight over this things as there’s plently”, pointing at Andile Ncube she says “Here’s another one.”

The tension between Somizi and Moshe reportedly started after Moshe was seen chilling with Somizi’s ex-hubby, Mohale Motaung. That single moment turned the TL upside down, and ever since, the pair haven’t been spotted together — until now, when Mam’Dube decided to clear the air her own way.

Social Media in Shambles

As expected, X (Twitter) users couldn’t breathe after Mam’Dube’s unfiltered confession. Here’s what the streets had to say:

@Tebza_Speaks: “Not Mam’Dube saying they’re fighting over men! She’s too real for this generation.”

@kaylin_za: “She pointed at her bum while saying itgive that woman a show IMMEDIATELY!”

@TheRealTumza: “Somizi needs to stop beefing with everyone. Next week it’ll be Lasizwe again.”

@sihle_808: “We love Mam’Dube for her honesty — she said it with her chest and no filter!”

@Kea_Tee: “This woman deserves a lifetime achievement award for entertainment alone.”

While Mzansi was laughing, some fans took a softer tone, saying Mam’Dube’s words came from love — the way only an old-school mom can tell it straight.

“She didn’t mean harm,” one user wrote. “She’s just tired of seeing her boys fighting over nonsense.”

Still, others couldn’t help but clock how often Somizi’s name ends up in friendship feuds. As one user put it: “At this point, it’s either bad luck or he is the drama.”

Whether she meant it literally or not, Mam’Dube’s ‘fighting over men’ moment has officially entered SA pop culture history. From Somizi’s reaction to the timeline chaos, one thing’s for sure — nobody drags with grace quite like Lillian Dube.
