Six-Year-Old Valdo Of “Ntwana Ntwana” Launches Clothing Line

South Africa’s youngest musical artist, Vivaldo Mcagwe, better known as Valdo of the ‘Ntwana Ntwana’ fame, already has his own clothing line.

Following the success of his debut song titled “Ntwana Ntwana” which reached over 1 million views on YouTube, the six-year-old social media sensation recently launched his kiddies range of sweaters and hoodies.

Valdo has partnered with online outlet Cava Apparel to sell his merchandise which includes T-shirts and hoodies which are priced between R300 and R400.

With the help of his father, Lindokuhle “Lin Dough” Sithole – a musician and dancer, the young influencer has achieved quite a lot for a kid his age:

  • He has an Instagram account with more than 39 000  followers
  • He is the youngest South African to have a song on iTunes
  • That songNtwana Ntwana” has over 1 million views on YouTube
  • He has been associated with brands such as Cotton On Kids.
  • Now the launch of his own merchandise

The father-and-son duo have won many hearts because of their videos on social media and have become father-and-son goals. They also have their own YouTube channel which has more than 25 000 subscribers.

Speaking on the popularity they’ve gained, Lin Dough said: “It started with one video which went viral and fans just wanted more and more.”

South Africans took to social media to congratulate Valdo, making him trend at number 3 on Twitter following the announcement of his launch, and eventually, he topped the Twitter trends list.
