Dr Nandipha Magudumana appeared in court without a hoodie for the first time since her arrest. She wore no makeup and went bare-faced.
The celebrity doctor appeared in court on May 3 with five other co-accused on charges of assisting a prisoner’s escape and defeating the ends of justice for her convicted rapist lover, Thabo Bester.

Their bail hearing has been rescheduled for May 11 and 12, and the murder allegations against them have been thrown out.
She appeared less shy in the courtroom, blowing kisses and smiling. She reminded South Africans of jovial ‘insurance fraudster’ Rosemary Ndlovu.
They share many similarities. They are both dangerous, but they take their time to make sure they look good in court.

Magudumana’s box braids were new, she’d set some edges, and her skin was glowing. You could tell she is/was a skin expert.
Many social media users couldn’t help but notice her beauty. Some even went so far as to say that if she were to be released from prison and continue working as a skin doctor, they would support her because they aspire to have the same glow she has.

Others aren’t fazed by her beauty. They still want her to pay for her crimes.
“They must never give her bail. She left her kids and ran with a man, so she really doesn’t care for them. She’s a flight risk,” commented @Fortune_xoly.
And while it’s fine to take pleasure in her beauty, let’s not forget that she’s in prison for terrible offences. She didn’t steal any clothes or anything.
She is accused of assisting a convicted rapist and murderer in escaping from jail, stealing bodies from a mortuary, exposing her girl children to a rapist, and fleeing the country with him. That sounds like a wolf wrapped in sheepskin. And we pray that no pretty privilege comes into play. Justice must triumph.
