The s*xy and one of the approved slay queens Tebogo Thobejane has debunked the idea that slay queens are promiscuous. She rather feels it a way of life, mostly when it pays even higher than some talented celebrities earn.
Not that there is a dictionary definition for the term slay queen. But what comes to mind when you hear these words? Definitely some people have already associated it with a lot of unpleasant thoughts.
The 36 year old, mother of one and Mzansi’s well known slay queen says that not all women with an hour glass (Kim Kardashian) shape can be fit enough to be called slay queens as competition is really tough out there.

She says that she wishes that people could open their minds and learn what it means to be a slay queens as not all them can be painted with the same brush.
“Not all slay queens are hoes or online prostitutes as people say. I won’t say those kinds don’t exist but not all of us fall in that category. Yes, we use our bodies but not to exchange s*x for luxurious lifestyles, I use my body to sell products, brands and a lifestyle.
“I mean, I won’t say I’m a saint and I also won’t say that I won’t willingly date a guy who doesn’t offer financial security along with love but as far as my lifestyle is concerned, I can proudly say I foot my own bill,” she said.
She also added that she makes more money a week than a person who works the normal 9-5 regular job shift.

“Look, when it comes down to it, there is money to be made from social media. Once you look past all the negative connotations of being an Instagram model, you realise that Instagram makes a lot of money from users and that we shouldn’t hesitate to make money off it. Once you find your passions and hone them down, you can bring in over R100k a week on that platform.”
Tebogo said she’s now going around Mzansi giving talks to young girls on the “the best side of the slay queen narrative” and wants them to embrace more freely.
