Mzansi Roasts LaConco Over Zuma Age Gap As She Turns 34:‘Love Is Blind, Deaf And On Pension!’

Nonkanyiso LaConco Conco just turned 34 — but instead of birthday love, Mzansi pulled out calculators and shade. The TV personality and former Real Housewives of Durban star celebrated her birthday on Thursday, 16 October 2025, surrounded by friends, glam, and even Zuma’s second wife, Nompumelelo Ntuli-Zuma. But online? Yoh, people were less focused on the champagne and more on the maths.

Mzansi couldn’t get over the fact that LaConco is 34 while her baby daddy, former president Jacob Zuma, is 83. That’s a 49-year age gap — and the internet simply refused to mind its business.

While Mzansi debated whether it was love, business or ancestral calling, LaConco herself shut down any rumours of a romantic reunion with uBaba. Speaking out after photos of her visiting Zuma’s home in eNkandla resurfaced, she made it clear:

“I have no romantic interest in my son’s father; it died years ago. As a mother, I am here for what is right for Sakha, which is quality time with his family.”

Still, Mzansi being Mzansi, they weren’t done with her. One fan even joked: “She said love died but the child remains a legacy.”
