Killer Cop Described As ‘Exceptionally Wicked’ Sentenced To Life
A former police sergeant, Ntombizodwa Getrude Ntinga, has been described by the presiding judge as a exceptionally wicked and sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiring with her lover to have her husband, Nkosinathi Ntinga, killed in a very brutal manner.
The KwaZulu-Natal High Court sitting in Mtubatuba handed down the sentence on Friday, after describing her as wicked also found Ntinga guilty of murdering her husband’s friend, Mpendulo Mdluli.

The Murder Plot
Ntinga and her lover, Mira Khoza, plotted to kill Nkosinathi, a former warrant officer in the South African Police Service (SAPS), claiming he physically abused her.
They enlisted Samkelo Ncamisa Mpanza to assist in the murder.
On August 1, 2023, Ntinga left home to buy her husband liquor and informed Khoza that he was off-duty and in the lounge.

The assailants later arrived, restrained those inside, and abducted Nkosinathi and Mdluli.
The victims were driven to a sugarcane field, where Nkosinathi was executed, and Mdluli was brutally beaten.
Judge’s Scathing Verdict
During sentencing, Judge Robin Mossop delivered a scathing verdict, described the their unwholesome actions, while condemning Ntinga and Mpanza for their lack of empathy and ubuntu.
Mossop described the cruelty inflicted upon the victims, pointing out that Nkosinathi was thrown into the boot of a car before being driven off to his death.

“A person is a human being because of the genes contained within 23 pairs of chromosomes.
“Your wicked conduct causes one to question whether you are truly human or whether you are both monsters, devoid of human qualities,” the introduction of the 27 March judgement reads.
Mpanza who was described as inhumane was sentenced to 25 years for each of the two killings, 14 years for robbery, and four years for each kidnapping. Both Ntinga and Mpanza were declared unfit to own firearms.
