Khanyi Mbau Sparks Madlanga Commission Rumours After Flaunting R17.9 Million Rolls-Royce!

Khanyi Mbau just reminded Mzansi that luxury is her love language — but not everyone is clapping. The media personality and actress has social media detectives working overtime after she was spotted cruising around in a Rolls-Royce Spectre worth a jaw-dropping R17.9 million.

Khanyi Mbau’s Luxury Flex Has Mzansi Talking

A video of the former The Wife and Muvhango actress behind the wheel of the luxury ride made rounds on X (formerly Twitter) this week. In the clip, Khanyi looked effortlessly glamorous, showing off the sleek, Rolls-Royce — a car so rare, it’s basically the “Birkin” of vehicles.

But the excitement quickly turned into suspicion. Many online users began to question how Khanyi could afford such an expensive whip, given that she hasn’t appeared in any major productions or brand campaigns lately.

According to autotrader.co.za, the 2024 Rolls-Royce Spectre retails for around R17.9 million, and it didn’t take long before Mzansi started doing some “forensic accounting” in the comments section.

Mzansi Reacts: ‘Madlanga Commission, Open The Case!’

Social media users immediately linked Khanyi’s name to the ongoing Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, where several high-profile names have recently been dropped. After Lerato Kganyago trended for days over a hotel scandal, many are convinced Khanyi might be the next celeb to have her name pop up.

Here’s what people had to say:

@Candle_Kerese wrote: “I won’t be surprised if her name pops out somewhere on Madlanga.”

@Ngimuhlez replied: “She is forcing us to know that Khudze guy can’t afford this. When last did she score an acting gig.”

@_babybear added: “We know the buyer, and we love a smart baddie. Also, who’s going to explain the number plate to me, yellow at the back, white in the front?”

@RTmmane joked: “What does she do for a living? Musa, please search for us and send Mkhwanazi the evidence.”

@DDT_PM quipped: “Did she find another scammer?”

@Ntombenhle124 added: “What exactly does Khanyi Mbau do for a living this one? She hasn’t been on screens for a while and acting doesn’t even pay that much.”

@Mojava10111 concluded: “The math is not matching, we don’t want to be there but here it’s quite obvious that we will be there. The yellow number plate? Zimbabwean or?”

Is She Next to Be Summoned?

This week alone, Lerato Kganyago trended for days after her name got tied to the Luxe Hotel 12 On Hillel Villa and Spa scandal. Now, Mzansi is convinced that Khanyi might just be next in line.

Whether it’s coincidence or foreshadowing, Khanyi’s silence on the matter has only fueled the speculation. Well, if social media ever ran investigations, Khanyi Mbau would already be in the witness box.

For now, she’s still living up to her Queen of Bling title — and Mzansi will keep refreshing their timelines, waiting to see if her name pops up in the Madlanga files.
