Kelvin Momo Pens Heartfelt Apology After Missing Sun City Resort Gig

Amapiano sensation Kelvin Momo has publicly apologised after failing to appear at his scheduled performance at Sun City Resort on Saturday, 16 August 2025. Fans and social media users expressed frustration after the DJ, who had been booked and paid for the event, did not arrive to perform.

In a heartfelt statement, Momo acknowledged the disappointment caused and admitted full responsibility for his absence.

“I would like to sincerely apologize to Sun City Resort, the event organizers, and most importantly, all the fans and guests for my absence and the disappointment caused by my non-attendance… I deeply regret any inconvenience, frustration, or confusion caused by this situation. This was never my intention, and I take full responsibility for not being present as expected,” he said.

DJ Cites Miscommunication and Unforeseen Circumstances

While addressing the backlash, Kelvin Momo explained that unforeseen circumstances and miscommunication contributed to the no-show. He admitted, however, that he could have communicated better with event organisers.

“I am working closely with my team to ensure that something like this does not happen again in the future,” he assured.

Kelvin Momo Promises to Make It Up to Fans

Despite the criticism, the Amapiano hitmaker expressed gratitude for the support he continues to receive from fans. He also promised to compensate for the disappointment with future performances.

“I am truly grateful for your support and understanding, and I hope to make it up to you at a future event… I am sincerely sorry for letting you down,” Momo said.
